My wife and I will be visiting Hua Hin for 2 weeks in early March (our first time to this part of Thailand - very excited as we are seriously considering retiring there and are coming for a look...) and we both like to not waste time knowing where to go for whatever we want (golf, food, activities etc.) and would like to know if there are 'companion' type services (who can stay with us for the duration of the stay of required) and be our guide etc.
We also enjoy being able to have massage whenever we want so would be good to have someone with local knowledge and good massage skills?
is there such a thing in Hua Hin and how do I contact?
many thanks in advance.

Companion and massage girl 555
Re: Tour, companion and massage Girl
What does that even mean?
Re: Tour, companion and massage Girl
the problem with massage girls is they never get to go anywhere, so they have no idea where anything is and never go to "expenisve farang places". They would have no idea about farang food, only very cheap Thai food, which might be ok for you. You will find a massage place about every 10 feet in Hua Hin.
what you need is a professional guide who speaks English and Thai and knows Hua Hin. Sorry I can't help you with that.
I would just keep reading this forum for many places to eat.
I would spend alot of time studying google maps and locate everything like golf and hotel.
I locate everything on my smartphone using google maps and GPS.
Banks and ATM's, Money Exchange and Cellphone SIM cards are on the third floor of the Market Village Mall. But you can find them everywhere.
The golf courses are a bit out of town, no problem. Most hotels are along the coast, but not all. Bahtbus runs North/South all day long. Night markets are easy to find. The Tuesday night night market is a bit off the beaten path, but easy to find.
Wat Khao Takiab is fun with lots of monkeys and a great view of the ocean and Hua Hin and a great fishing villiage at the foot of the mountain. There are two nice beaches on both side of Wat Khao Takiab.
The Khao Tabiab area is nice on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights near the Hyatt and Amari Hotels. Day trip to to the Pala U waterfall if you like forest, mountains and a short hike. There is a winery along the same road to the waterfall.

the red light district is near the hilton and on soi 80. there are some nice bars in both areas and some funny and sad people watching.
If you really want a "companion" girl, Soi Bintabaht near the Hilton is the place to look.
Good luck.

Don't worry Peter, the post above is just suggesting that the title sounds a bit fishy.
Now to the best of my knowledge there is no such service as such in Hua Hin.
But if you list all the things you are looking to do we could probably help out with where the best things are.
If you tell us your budget may help, and how long will you be here?
I will start off by saying the chalelarn Hotel is a great place to stay, there are 2 take the one with the pool on the roof. The elephant orphanage on Palo u road is interesting, you can feed and look after them if you want. The Hilton roof top at night is the best view in town and has Chinese food [bring your visa card but]
Have a look at CHA AM as well, walk the beach there it is quite through the week.
Hua Hin night market for little items to take bake home. Others on here will assist on the best golf.
Food well there is a whole thread on here about that. Try coco 51 on soi 51 beach end lovely.
If you have not ridden a steppy in years DONT try it ..Tuk Tuks are cheap and will keep you alive, or rent a car, Make sure you take pics of it, and make sure its insured.
Massage is every where when ever so that's easy. Have a good holiday

Or for the most comprehensive list of visitor locations anywhere in the Hua Hin area, look at our What's on and Where to Go, Hua Hin posts on our Facebook Page. You will not find a more comprehensive listing of places to visit in this area anywhere.JamesWest wrote:look here:

Can you recommend a SIM / phone company that receives best/faster reception for internet data (3G / 4G) ?
Re: Tour, companion and massage Girl
I use AIS. 4G is only under test in some areas of Thailand. The 3G is fast enough for Google maps navigation. You can get a SIM card at the airport or top floor of Market Village mall in HH. Make sure that your phone is unlocked.
