I think, if correct, that’s more than you raised last year Dawn.

Sopa and I had a brilliant night. We’ve been talking about it all day to customers and a hearty donation has been put into your donation box today because of that.

I for one had a really good night, and the two things I bid on I won, (no thanks to Terry and JW who up’d the bids several times and cost me another 3,000 bht). Der Ka Der, Mai.

I did win an endurance race at JWS Motorport for far less than it’s true worth, I will donate this as the inaugural HHDRC Endurance Classic. Seven seats left, (one for myself of course).

Only 1,000bht a seat, that gets you 30 laps in total, (10 practice and 20 racing), all monies raised to go to the HHDRC. I’ll provide free food and beer for all who take it up, friends and family welcome to attend and support.

Not to take place until all places are signed up, exclusively for HHAD members.

Who’s first up. Dr D? JW? Terry? Barry? Anyone welcome, first come, first served!

Names below please.

JD,

Gross is more than last year, but after deductions, almost exactly the same. It pays for the new center, though which is exactly what I'd hoped for! :D

Thank you so much for talking people into donating today (brilliant! ) and, of course for the idea of using the race for our benefit, as well. Mum & I are really touched. When you do the race, can littl'un & I come & watch (Mum, too if she's not in HK?)? Wow, so much support, I'm overwhelmed... A huge thanks, again

Your the star of the show, of course, you all have to be there if you are able.

Just keeping the peddle to the metal.

Talking about meatl, I don’t normally cast judgment, but I think Band No.2 had the edge last night, some good Hendrick covers, made my night with the ‘Hey Joe’ cover.

Good memories, saw ‘the man’ live on the Isle of Wight many years ago, named my first nipper after that song, fell asleep last night full of good memories, and woke up feeling that there are no problems in this world that I can’t face, despite the adversities attached.

Come along, get involved, enjoy the JWS Experience, and a good time will be enjoyed by all. I’ll even sort out a HHDRC Trophy for the winner, presented by Dawn and nipper. "good photo op or what". :thumb:

JD,

1 seat for me and 1 for Jenny in the go kart thing! Cool!!
Band wise i totally agree, only problem was the keyboard guy was on his first night and sounded more like a bontempi than a electric piano!
We share a love for that Hendrix track for our own reasons, and too be totally honest the first band wrecked it and Cartoon plays it with a lot of passion.
Be round for the beans soon, kitchen is about open!

That’s five so far Barry, Three places to go.

Trying to talk Dr D into it, but since he’s become a Hua Hin Businessman he’s more worried about his white strides.

Still if he doesn’t want to help I have 6 versions of Hotel California I have found, even one by Rolf Harris. Maybe a bargaining tool, (not a threat though) unless, of course, you’re wearing white strides.

Besides if he does join in, he’s bound to win, what with all that hairdryer experience he’s had.

So, 30 laps, free beer, food, good company, 1,000bht and all for charity, what’s the matter with you all. A bargain and lots of fun involved, bring it on. This event has to be used by 30th November according to the docket I was given, but I can have a word if this is to soon, I hope not, I’m ready to race tomorrow. Any dates in mind? Don’t forget, 5,000bht for anybody beating Joe’s track record.

JD,

Just a thought, but maybe you should start a new thread about this under events or sports fans. I think the fact it's under the HHDRC thread & the fact the date (14th) is past might be making members reluctant to view...

Any progress on the go-kart racers yet?

Has anybody snapped up the last 2 places? :?

Would never have though it would take so long - a fantastic opportunity for such an exciting day out, plus food and drink at almost no cost and for such a good cause :o

Must be someone else out there who's up for a great day's craic :guns:
