Ok I thought the goal difference was bigger, but not know the rules I think we need to win with 4 or 5 goal to be sure because we lost 5-0 to Prachuab in the 1game if I remember correct.
Looking forward to the game and hope to win an existing and fair match with a good referee

The goal difference is currently 6, but everytime Hua Hin score, Hua Hin's difference improves by one and Prachuab's will decrease by one. At 3 - 0 it would be a tie. At 4 - 0 Hua Hin get promoted. A highly unlikely scenario, but there is a little glimmer of hope.

Hua Hin rarely lose at Fort Thanarat, but winning by 4 goals against a team like Prachuab ..........................

We actually lost 5-1 at Prachuab in the first game but we conceded 2 or 3 late goals in that game - I missed at least 2 as I was heading home in utter disgust. As you say, Big Boy, 4-0 is not unachievable but it is extremely unlikely, but where there is a will there is a way!! There was never 4 goals of a difference in that game. Hopefully the management team can instill some self belief that it is not over until the final whistle. I have said on many occasions that it could come down to goal difference and not for the first time I have been proved right. The teams we beat by one goal that should have been 5 has probably led to our undoing, but losing by 4 goals when it maybe should only have been 1 was just plain wreckless.

I still blame Phichit's cheating for our situation. To totally knobble our defence when we have to play them again the following week was despicable..................... and then put 4 past us

Looking at him Saturday, I don't think your favourite, Anucha will be match fit until next season, but wgo knows, he might be our knight on a white charger. Kanchit, Stephens and Lampty are more than capable of eliminating the Prachuab attack - letsjust hope they turn up this time. They were not on their game for the opening match.

This made me laugh last weekend, so I thought I'd share it with you.

In my report, I mentioned that Owusu was suspended and took his place with the away supporters. When he came into the stand Mrs BB had quite a chat with him as if they were old mates. Owusu sat down 2 rows behind us (still in earshot).

Mrs BB then looked out to the team warming up and says, "I can see Stephens, and I can see Lampty, but where's the other black man?" When we explained that she'd just been speaking to him, and he was right behind her (including a bit of deliberate pointing), I think it was a real 'I wish the Earth could swallow me up moment.' They did have a laugh over it. :D

............well, it amused me

The Thai Football League have decreed that all matches have to kick off off at the same time this weekend. Because some teams don't have floodlights  , this means all fixtures have been re-arranged to 15:30.

don't you think it will come down to the goal difference between the 2 teams, if there is equal points and goal scored in the champions liga,so if we win with 3 it would not be enough since we lost with 4 in the 1 game ?

Possibly, but as with most things in Thai football, we'll find out the truth when they work it out it happens. As with things like the Thai offside rule or how to take throw ins, trying to make comparison with real football is confusing.

My son plays for a mainly farang team here in Hua Hin, and week after week they are penalised for making foul throws - I have seen the ref officiating at Fort Thanarat. They eventually took the ref to one side to ask why. He demonstrated what was legal and illegal several times. My conclusion - it's no wonder Thailand struggle in International competition as they play different rules.

Anyway, I saw this written in Thai. I don't understand it, but think it explains the various scenarios:

My wife told me that the red lines figures will send Prachuab up, and the blue send us up.

yes I agree about the rules and refs here can be rather funny, you do get some good value for the 50 baht :D

Looking forward to sunday and a 3-o lead at half time

The question is, will they risk an unfit Anucha? If they do, can he do a job?

He tried to join in with the pre-match activities at Prachinburi, but was clearly in a lot of pain.

I'd also like to see Yonsak back on the wing after injury - he's scored some crucial goals this season.

If there a small chance that Anucha can play we should play him in start and see how long he can play,he is a gifted player who can be the winner for us.

Time to bump this one....................

Today at 15:30, location Fort Thanarat, the FINAL SHOWDOWN will take place.

By 17:30 we will know whether Prachuab have secured the final promotion place, or whether Hua Hin have done the impossible and managed to steal it from them. The atmosphere will be electric, and hopefully the football will be as good.

It should be a fantastic experience, and regardless of the outcome, somebody will be partying at the end of it.

Hi,
Could someone give directions to Fort Thanarat? ´(from Hua Hin)
I assume it might be somewhere in this thread already but I´m not sure if I can go through all the pages in time ;-)
