Baby driver’s been driving all over for 2 years

I would really like to know from someone on here with professional experience what we're dealing with here in terms of mental deficiency, and the cause? I think an answer to this question would clarify many other things we've discussed on here.

I initially saw this at 0500 this morning on Channel 3 news. Indeed this guy has four cars, one of which is a new Land Rover. He is wealthy it appears which says to me he should have an education.

If it off necessity I don't have a problem with the mentality. Assuming you have a big farm, you learn to operate equipment as soon as your feet can reach the pedals. This also takes into account this should happen on your own property and not on public roads. Out in the countryside you see many kids using motorcycles - out of necessity. There is no public transport or infrastructure out there so I feel it is justified. However in rather more built-up places where public transport is readily available I do not condone the mentality. Yes I have seen this behavior in Bangkok; parent driving with child on lap holding steering wheel. ... A nono for me.
My son was not allowed to drive until he was of legal age and had the sense of responsibility drilled into him. He was also only allowed to drive his mother's car- mine had too much horsepower to trust him with. Plus the condition he had to fork out for fuel

Father of girl driver fined, charged

The father of a nine-year-old girl video-taped driving a car to school in Surat Thani province was fined for a traffic violation on Thursday and is facing another, more serious charge, police said.

Yongyuth Mankaprathum met Pol Lt Col Narong Kittipngwiwat, the deputy superintendent in charge of traffic of Muang police station, to hear a charge of letting a person without a driver's licence drive a vehicle. He was fined 1,000 baht, Pol Capt Omjai Rungklang said.

The father faces another more serious charge of violating the Child Protection Act as he allowed a child to engage in inappropriate and risky behaviour. Police are gathering evidence to hand the case to state prosecutors to indict him before the provincial court, according to Daily News online

The charge carries a maximum fine of 30,000 baht and three months in jail.

I suppose this will be the last we hear of this. The prick has no right to have a daughter. Just imagine if she had an accident and killed somebody. It would ruin the rest of her life. There is a big difference between this case and the one of the upstart 16 year old girl that caused the dearth of 9 people, but all she received was a slap on the wrist.
