Early days I know but is it possible for the runaway leaders to be caught.

After the way West Ham played yesterday, even without their 2 Plymouth Argyle apprentices, there is no doubt they are definitely heading in the right direction.

When Sven takes over soon (its obvious poor old Pardew is washed out), they will become a world force.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

Arsenal and Liverpool will gain ground over the next 2 months.
No doubt. :thumb:

It will be the first time the premiership has had a draw, same points, same goal difference, same wins, same draws. The cup gets cut in half but jose disagrees as he believes chelsea should win it as united had 3 goals scored by the opposition to chelsea's 1 and even though they had the same number of red cards each, chelsea had 1 less yellow and Man U won the European cup so he thinks that it is only fair that he can have it!

I thought the "another no hoper" would catch that one. Somebody voted for it.

How's that then BaaBaa are they going to start giving Arsenal and Liverpool four points for a win?

4 points for a win would not help Liverpool as they won't be getting too many wins this season. Arsenal will win more but not enough to catch up.

Hate to say it but on the evidence of Manure's display against the Trotters on Saturday they seem to have the title in the bag.

Theoretically Arsenal are only 4 points behind as they have a game in hand. The way they played against Reading was the best any PL team has played this season. This must be why the OP didn't dare to mention Arsenal in his options for this poll. He must have taken some lessons from the Portugese Man-Of-War coaching his favourite team and I'm not talking about the old lady here.

I did cater for Arsenal under the category "another no hoper".

Great theory but it's wins that make champions. I have to admit that Arsenal can be attracative to watch but really should have taken all three points against Everton. To make matters worse I had my banker on them thinking that the bad spell was over.

I have to add that the allegiance to West Ham in the face of adversity by its staunch supporters much more refreshing than their football.

Liverpool were in the same position last season.
We have got many tricky games out of the way and are more than capable of going on a run of 10 or more wins, as we did last season. TWICE.
I personally think Man U have the weakest squad out of the "big 4"
The League is 38 games long after all and liverpool have played their hardest 4 away games already. 8)

For a team with the weakest squad, they are doing very well. Top of the league, scored most goals, still unbeaten in Europe etc.

Maybe BaaBaa can explain the secret of their success, if its not down to their players (could even be a new poll here) eg is their success down to better coaching? better support? sheer luck? etc. I'll be very interested to know your perception of the reasons.

Possibly the amount of time the nucleus of the side has been together.
Quality of opposition so far this season?
I admit, begrudgingly, that united have played very well this season.
I do believe that Chelsea and Liverpool, player for player, have better squads though.
Besides, its still early days. Is success to be top after 10 games?
United have won nothing of note for about 4 years.

Absolutely no chance of anybody catching them now, both squads are too strong especially Chelsea's I just cannot see them both dropping enough points to let anyone in.

United have not got a strong squad. Any side that plays fletcher and o'shea cannot have a strong squad. 1st team maybe.
