How many English players were in Manchester City's championship winning squad, again? We've swamped our league with foreigners and in doing so have killed off any hope we had of improving young English talent.

As for Suarez... I like him! When do you see him doing the dirty off the field along with the likes of John (Captain,Leader,Prick) Terry, Ryan Giggs and Wayne (couldn't be arsed) Rooney. He's a family man who just likes a bite now and then.

I suppose I do in a sense. Why should people of which are, basically, horrible people, be let given a 5 star life and become people's role models simply because they have football feet. Ryan Giggs had an affair with his brother's wife FFS!

Apart from a slight nibble fetish and regarding his success on the field...when have you seem Suarez making the headlines? For 'real' stories I mean.

I'd rather have him as a role model for my son over Terry, Rooney and Giggs if the choice were a reality.

20 years ago, my American friends here and in Bangkok had little or no interest in soccer, now they are fanatical and very knowledgeable, great atmosphere watching games with them.
