Hua Hin has one of the lowest rainfall amounts in Thailand, and I think Bor Fai, on the Northern side of town around the airport has the least amount of rain in Hua Hin.

I enjoy watching the weather sweep in over the hills during the rainy season, and whilst the town and Khaw Takiap and further South often get obliterated from view by rain, and even the hills a mile or so away seem to get their fair share, down by the coast at Bor Fai we seem to get precious little.

EDIT: As can be seen on the left side of the image, the monsoon is indeed cranking up.
Did you forget to pray to Buddha last night Pete?
I guess I did. I was distracted by a box of wine. It was wet here this morning but I think nothing but drizzle overnight as the downspout pots were not full.

Where I live, which is close to The Energy complex, the sky was so black I feared we would get rain of biblical proportions, but it turned out to be no more than 1 cm, but better than nothing and allowed us to skip watering the garden.

At the bottom of my screen I see " All the times are UTC +7 hours-DST) - this must be wrong so how do I change it, thanks?

UTC +7 is correct, but you don't want the DST (daylight savings time)
