Hi Peter,
I'm sure there will be guys out tomorrow for a run.
08:30 at El Murphys. If that plan changes I will let you know by posting here.
Not sure if I'll make it myself as I think I've got a puncture. Need to get that sorted today.

Peter,

it may be an earlier start tomorrow so if you're coming be prepared to start earlier. Cannot P.M. you just now as you have <10 posts. Would be great if you could post your email address or mobile number so I can let you know the accurate particulars once I'm privy.

Hi Ginganinja
Unfortunately now I had to pick up a friend from a hospital in Bkk after an operation so I'm not sure she can be alone. If I go tomorrow morning it might be directly from Bkk.
My personal mail is "peterft4" the funny "a" gmail and then "com" and phone 0826487778.
BTW I find the forum difficult to navigate in and can hardly find my own post from yesterday - anyone have the same problem or is it just me ? :?

Honda NM4 Vultus.jpg
The Honda NM4 Vultus

Back in the UK I had a foot in both chopper and tourer camps and enjoyed both for what they were. Maybe this one needs a category of its own...
I don't hate it, but I can't decide if I'd want to be seen riding it.
At the end of the day, perhaps I'm just too modest for a bike like this...

This Vultus is not my type, but interesting design, mix of scooter and bike, seat far from the front wheel... I would like to try it,
just to check if it is easy to handle.
thanks for sharing !

^ His initial post about the weekend was moved from a separate, new thread into this Bikers thread I think.

Some nice (and expensive!) bikes in this slideshow:

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Had a look at the Vultus at the Motor Show (I went last Friday).

Its only a concept, personally I think it would not be very good maneuvering, the steering looks so long.

I'm sure it would find buyers though, but I doubt I would be one.

A friend purchased a Suzuki V-Stron 650 at the show. THB350K Officially Imported, including registration and 1 year !st Class Insurance. I went with him also on Saturday for a test drive, not a bad bike at all, and certainly a very good price fora 'Made in Japan' bike.

I was told that Prachuap Khirikan Bike Week was postponed from 29 March to 5 April, but I have seen nothing about it online.
Maybe somebody knows ?

I have had confirmation that Prachuap Bike Week will be next saturday 5th April.
I will go and see the scene on Friday afternoon and will post again about it.

Actually Richard, I think this is a more accurate representation of how bikes are built.

April Anzac Kanchan Ride - 23rd-27th
A few of us will be riding to Kanchanaburi to partake in the Anzac day celebrations there with the Aussies. There are a lot of parties and bikers from around Thailand converge on the town so it will be a blast. Staying for a couple of days to do some riding in the surrounding countryside. Who is up for it?
