I've just checked the forecast and they reckon we could have one or two showers over the next couple of days - fingers crossed they are correct!!

I hope they're wrong and it turns to snow because of all the weird weather around the world due to climate change. Can you imagine the driving in Hua Hin with snow or ice on the roads? :P
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Are there any web sites that posts the water temperature at popular beaches and holiday destinations in Thailand?

There's individual location sites if you Google the place then "water temperature". It seems though it's always 27-30c on average everywhere in the Gulf.

That's a good link. Maybe Buksida can add it to the sticky on Weather page #1. Pete

That will be a good thing if still applicable in April-June period. Over here in the East the water gets like soup. The Andaman off Phuket gets colder though at certain times, but I don't know by how much.

EDIT: I bet the arrival of the yearly jelly fish coincides with the sea temp rise during hot season.

That is very likely. The same happens here in Norway during late spring and into the summer when the sea temp rises that the jelly fish arrives.

It would seem that the prospect of some rain never materialised, so it's more sunshine to look forward to.

Lucky you, I could almost have counted the spots of rain on two hands yesterday morning and then nothing. :(
