Middle Eastern Food

Post by bapak »

Falafel on the Tracks, a small booth located on the road running alongside the Railway Line... About opposite Kim's Restaurant.. small booth almost next to the to shop that sells fish tanks and the likes..

Only 4 main items on the menu with a number of side dishes available. We sampled 3 dishes (takeaway) and quite satisfied

Totally vegetarian. Owned by Israeli/American and his Thai wife.

We will return. Probably best for takeaway as it is a very busy road with zero parking,

I ate there earlier this evening. Totally satisfied with food & price.
He told me that soon they will only be open at this location in the day, and will be open at night at the outdoor food court just past the 7/11 over the railway line, on soi 88.

The falafel restaurant is now located in the night market at soi 88, half way down on the left hand side.

I'm assuming it is referring to the nightime food market that is near the 2 7-11s.

Now if only there was a Lebanese or Syrian restaurant around, best Middle Eastern food you can find

^ nope. Best I can tell they are closed as often as they are open!

I look about every time I'm picking up some take home from the food court.
