Brit Teacher,wife & 2 largish dogs relocating from Chiang Mai looking for 2/3 bed house or villa with garden in Hua Hin or Cha Am -long term rental [min 1yr & ongoing] 12-16k per month -if possible walking distance of beach .Arriving Jan 8 to look around for 10 days .Please call 083 593 8987.

Hi Bruce and Deuce, You will probably not get a response for this request. You can check on the websites of the Property Sponsors, Hot Property Hua Hin or Hua Hin Property, (see to the right) but usually will not find property in this price range. At 10% commission, not worth their time. But you can find property for these prices. It may be more difficult to find within walking distance to the beach. Cha Am will be less than Hua Hin. Further South of Pran Buri you can find within walking distance in this price range. You have the right idea, come here for some time and look around. Ask Thai locals about rentals. Ride around the areas you may have interest in and look for signs posted on the fence or wall. Better if you can take someone Thai with you for this. Two things to be aware of: Soi dogs and noise, and water availability. Good Luck on your search.
