which airport BKK or Hua Hin

If it is BKK then try Orchid Resort. I have stayed there many times and very good. There are a lot of little places around Latkrabang. I pay 800 baht (inc bfast) and another 100 baht to take me to airport. It is about 5 to 10 mins from airport. www.orchidresort.net.

I like the Thong Ta. Very good location near local restaurants, bars and a night market, but quiet. About a 10 minute drive from Swampy on their free van shuttle. Can book on Agoda for a very good deal. Suggest you pay a little bit extra and book a superior room. These are located in the new building which has an elevator and are nicer rooms.

I stopped at the Phoenix hotel they have a free shuttle bus to and from the airport I booked though the web latestays i think it was.
Hotel was fine not much in the area that I could see but did not venture out far.
