Snowpiercer moves into a 2nd week showing at 15:30 and 21:10 daily.

New this week, and one that I've been waiting for is The Hobbit 2 (The Desolation of Smaug) is showing in 3D at 12:30, 15:45 and 19:00 daily.

As usual, click this week's new movie name above for review and trailer.

OMG, I only realised that Snowpiercer was the new Captain America movie that I've been waiting to see, when I read an advert in Thai at Market Village this morning. :banghead:

Fortunately, its running for a second week.

Sorry BB. Unless someone's confused the new Captain America movie is The Winter Soldier. Take a look at the Snowpiercer trailer you supplied the link to.

That's what I thought, but the advert for Snowpiercer definitely says Captain America on it. I will probably be in the vicinity this evening, and will try to find/photograph the poster I'm referring to.

I didn't see the poster again - I think it was on the Ground Floor anyway. That aside, thanks hhinner, the trailer didn't do much for me, so you've saved me a worthless visit.

On the bright side, we went to watch The Hobbit last night. A good, action packed movie. Unfortunately another movie with a very abrupt ending - you're just thinking that this will be a massacre, and the screen goes black (hope I didn't give too much away - I hate spoilers). Another year before the 3rd part :banghead: :banghead:

I know that comparisons with pattyagrad annoy some people, but looking in the B Post, I see they have at least 3 multiplexes with about5 screens each. Most in English. Don't think that they have 15 times the expat population. Would like to see LostVegas and American Hustle but doubt that we will get them.

I'm hoping that our choice improves when we get our second cinema in 2015(ish) as part of Blue Port.

Very sorry guys, Christmas preparations has meant I've taken my eye off the ball  . Well, that and the fact they've changed a movie on a Monday as opposed to a Thursday.

Snowpiercer carries on as before.

The Hobbit has been replaced by 47 Ronin showing in 3D at 11:00, 13:35, 16:10, 18:45 and 21:20

The trailer in the cinema made it look very good, and I was looking forward to it. However, my son has heard so many bad reports that we haven't bothered, which is unusual - we go to most Original Soundtrack movies.

As a cinematic masterpiece it's not. I enjoyed the movie but its not like the well known samurai movies. I don't regret going but wouldn't repeat.
