Try Palm Bistro, extra tasty tomato soup, had some today - bread and butter as well!

A truly good soup can't be made in a few minutes, so restaurants would need to prepare a pot of it in advance, which means that much of it could end up going to waste unless they routinely have a lot of customers who enjoy soup. Not really worth the risk for the smaller places.

If Naab Thong are still open, you might want to try the pea soup which has had some very good reviews on here. Alternatively, just make your own soup.

Maybe so adventurous expat will open a "Soup Kitchen" offering three or four different soups each day, and reasonably priced. As with some other dishes, I have long since given up ordering soup at restaurants in Thailand - if I want instant soup I can buy it in a supermarket but I don't because it's vile stuff.

Okay, who is stepping forward to make some good oxtail soup? :D

Not exactly "in town", but Naab Thong used to serve some of the best soups I've had here including a favorite split pea. I haven't been there lately though so best to call first to see if they still have it.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

The bistro off soi 80 (Mayos I think they call it) do an excellent pea and ham soup. It's a meal in it's self with lovely chunks of brown bread. Seen people order it as a starter and have to take the main course away as a take-away

"All in Hua Hin". Try the yellow pea soup with sausage. Excellent.

Or just keep it in the fridge - soup will happily keep for a few days if stored correctly.
