He obviously had to go. I never thought he was the man, but I was prepared to give him a chance. He got a good crack at the job, but frankly seemed quite clueless. Didn't know what his best team was and was quite unable to adapt to circumstances in a game - he made some very odd substitutions.

Good riddance.

Having said that, I'm not hugely impressed with the names of potential replacements in the BBC article - I prefer BaaBaa's choices. And I actually thought Levy should have gone for Rodgers before AVB last year.

Is there a sequel to your little story GLC?
Oh, and I think my skill at forecasting your numptiness beats your skill at forecasting football results.
Shame about AVB though, perhaps Big Boy`s favourite Hollowood would be a good replacement, he`s good at getting teams back up to the premiership

It appears they're looking for someone as an interim to run the ship until the end of the season.

RDM has form in sorting out AVB's mess. All he had to do at Chelsea was revert to the style the players already in place knew and were comfortable with. Probably all that's needed at Spurs.

This article looks silly already but thought I would post a reference to compare once the season is over. Pete

I was beginning to feel sorry for AVB in his post-match interview, then I pulled myself together, remembered his upward/downward spiral quotes and chuckled at Spuds problems and thought how much sympathy would our very own forum Spurs fans give THE Arsenal.
