Vettel dominates once again. Eight of us picked him to win. He's now at 247 points compared to 187 for Alonso and 151 for Hamilton with six races remaining.

I had the best race this week with 21 points. The top three are now myself, Lindosfan and Pharvey. I'm overdue for a crash so expect it. It's off to Korea now for October 6 with Japan following the week after. Good luck to all! :thumb:

Korean GP: Formula 1 officials monitoring storm

Formula 1 organisers are monitoring Tropical Storm Fitow that is passing through parts of Asia ahead of this weekend's Korean Grand Prix.

Weather forecasts suggest the storm is set to veer west of South Korea and into China, meaning it will miss Mokpo, where Sunday's race will be held.

While it may not hit South Korea, the storm could still cause heavy rain and strong winds to affect the region.

The first Korean Grand Prix, held in 2010, was disrupted by a heavy storm.

A huge downpour soaked the circuit, causing the race to be suspended for over an hour.

Vettel has the pole in Korea. Weather could still be a big factor tomorrow. Too soon to be sure how close the typhoon will get.

The only one with his head screwed on right appears to be Lindosfan. All the rest of us* forgot Webber will start in 13th position (3+10) due to his penalty from the last race. :banghead: * is a gift for VS and spouse as they haven't picked yet. :D Pete

Vettel wins yet again. He can take the championship next week in Japan if he wins and Alonso comes in 8th or lower. Some tire problems evident but I have to read more if a Pirelli problem once again or a track debris problem.

Terry had the best race of the week with 16 points. Although mwbrown had 16 points also, Terry had more margin points which count higher than the fastest lap point, therefore Terry won the Yellow Cap. The top three remain myself, Lindosfan and Pharvey.

Good to see Parahandy found his way out of the pits this week. Thought he was lost in there for a moment.

Japan is next weekend. Good luck to all! :thumb:

Turned into a circus there for awhile, although there was some brilliant driving towards the end. Poor old Webber cannot take a trick--moved up from starting 13th to 5th before he was robbed.

The tyre appeared to explode, the complete casing disintegrated into several large parts.

I guess there will be words spoken about the fire truck coming out without authority, and without any flashing lights!

Webber has the pole in Japan. A bit of a surprise but he did well in practice. No one picked him for the pole. This could be Webber's week, and his final win in F1? Pete

Vettel wins......I sound like a broken record. Alonso finished 4th though so Vettel needs the India race to capture the championship.

Pharvey had the best race with 18 points, and the top three remain the same.

Vettel wins again, and in so doing captures the Championship for this season. Really not a surprise but congratulations to him.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/201 ... sults/race

JJBones had the best race this week with 15 points, Lindosfan having 15 also but the Cap goes to JJ due to the type of points achieved. The top 3 remain the same this week, but I am losing ground just in time to get knocked off by the last race perhaps?

EDIT: I guess the below indicates that there is still a race going on for 2nd and 3rd spots:

2 Fernando Alonso Spa Ferrari 207
3 Kimi Raikkonen Fin Lotus 183
4 Lewis Hamilton GB Mercedes 169

....and the Constructors' championship:

2 Mercedes 313
3 Ferrari 309
4 Lotus 285

This coming Sunday is Abu Dahbi. Will Vettel remain competitive or ease off? Good luck to all! :thumb:

Awk, Vettel does it again.......said Pete the Parrot  He's at 7 consecutive wins and 9 is the record set be Alberto Ascari 60 years ago. He's at 11 victories and the record is Schumacher with 13 in one season. So, there should still be fire in his racing as he can tie these records if he wins the last two races of the season.

JJBones is on fire also as he had the best race again this week with 16.5 points. The top three are now myself, Lindosfan and Vital Spark has moved into 3rd place. :D Pharvey didn't make picks this week. :(
