For the 3rd consecutive week, the cinema's original soundtrack showing remains as Mortal Instruments. Albeit, showtimes have changed to 11:30, 14:20, 17:10 and 20:00.

I've given up in my quest to talk sense into the management regarding trying to maximise their income. This will mean the cinema have offered 30,000 seats to watch Mortal Instruments in original soundtrack, while other 'watchable' movies such as Percy Jackson, Riddick 3 and White House Down are shown in Thai only.

I guess downloads are the only sensible way forward, while being grateful for any crumbs the cinema may throw.

This movie is only being given limit showings in English, with other showings being in Thai only. I don't know if this is a result of me telling management that their English showings were total overkill e.g. Jobs had approximately 21,000 seats allocated to English showings.

I was one one of the 21 people who went to watch Rush at 20:50 yesterday. Probably the only thing to get me there was the high IMDB rating (click movie name above above) it received. I think it was the highest rating I've seen (I actually thought it was a mistake). With hindsight, the rating was spot on.

Having lived through the Hunt/Lauda years, I actually found the movie gripping, and an excellent insight on their rivalry. I learnt a lot. Hunt's death at the age of 45 had totally by-passed me, and this information quite surprised me at the end. The movie lasted over 2 hours. but it seemed to be over very quickly. I'd definitely recommend going along - 170 Baht well spent (only 80 Baht if you're a Wednesday cheap charlie ).

[Edit] My son, who was not born in the movie's era also thoroughly enjoyed it.

Unfortunately I don't. I don't even know if it's in English today as their website is bringing up movies for Nakhonsithammarat at the moment

I literally check their website each day to see what is showing.

As well as Rush, Hua Hin Cinema is showing Jobs in English AGAIN at 11:50, 14:40, 17:30 and 20:20. I've no idea if this is a one off for today, or whether it will continue.

Apologies for no update yesterday, but my 3BB connection is hopeless at the moment.

Starting yesterday, GRAVITY is being shown in 3D and original soundtrack at 11:30, 13:50, 16:10, 18:30 and 20:50 daily.

Additionally, Rush is still being shown in original soundtrack at 20:00 daily.

My current connection will not allow me to post a preview at this time. Will update when Internet improves.

Gravity is showing now in 3d original soundtrack. It is an edge of the seat thriller. More importantly it breaks new ground in cinema and will change things in the same way Kubrick's 2001 did.
Best film in a score of years by a long way...will win every award.
I recommend it highly.
