As far as I know the Black Mambas that escaped during the 2011 floods were never found. 10 or 12 escaped, from an illegal wild life dealer, so we can assume that there is a breeding group somewhere in Bangkok. Nearest anti-venom was in Tokyo the last that I heard.

They were reported as green mambas, and I think it all turned out to be hearsay about them even existing in the first place. The previous flood thread from that year should have the story somewhere, although about a 20 page thread I think. Pete
