HH Ford Dealer Failed Service

Post by HHCanuck »

Today my wife took our Ford Fiesta in to repair the glove box after my son pushed a piece out with his foot. Ford quickly takes everything out and fixes it. As my wife is leaving the service area she notices the air con is not working. She swings back in and tells the mechanic the air con isn't working now. The mechanic has my wife pop the hood to take a look and asks my wife where she has taken the car to get the freon refilled? My wife tell him the car is less than two years old it hasn't been touched except by this dealership. She suggests maybe a wire got pulled out when he was fixing the glove box.

The mechanic takes the car for a drive and comes back saying the air con is dirty. My wife in shock says it was working perfectly 2 hours ago when she brought it in to fix the glove box!!(getting angry now) She goes inside the office to complain at the service desk the lady comes and looks and agrees with the mechanic, air con is dirty the mechanic to do that job will not be back for 3 hours. Well my wife has had enough of that BS (LOL) and tell him to take the glove box out now!!! So the mechanic starts taking everything apart while my wife looks over his shoulder he asks her is she would like to go inside where it is cool. She says no she wants to see what he is doing. Sure enough he find the problem something he removed and didn't put back. He apologises to my wife. My wife (Thai) describes these two as unintelligent primitive primates (in not so nice terms) and thanks me for teaching her not to take shit from people.

Funny the stupid things Thais will pull to try and save face.

One reason NOT to live in Thailand - and it's nothing to do with Ford.

I read a quote from an author of Thai fiction books the other day. It went something like "The goal of all Thais is to go from birth to cremation without being embarrassed..." Has some truth to it. Pete
