Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2013

Went last night for a few hours with the family. Caught Vietrio and Les Freres - both brilliant acts.
Vietrio - a boy/girl violin duo plus a girl cellist with keyboard and drummer accompanying. Music a la Vanessa Mai and simply brilliant.
Les Freres, a Japanese brother duo piano act - for me did nothing until about 2/3 the way through their set - they then performed superbly.
I can take or leave Jazz but the setting on the beach with no rain, plenty of food and booze around, made for a pleasant experience.
Agree with BBs comment about the compare tho'.

We had to depart around 9.30 for a dinner appointment - sadly no pics worth posting, but would go again next year.

It is very unlikely that there will be a jazz festival this year after the cancellation of the 2012 one. Sadly it looks like we've seen the last of this great event.

Will use this thread to update with any info if we get it. Please also post here if you find out anything.

It is very bad news.. Do you have any updates on it..

Won't know about Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2014 until a few weeks before the event.
