Sorry to keep bringing this up, but it makes a huge difference to me. If they do peas, are they mushies?

I guess from the cryptic answer that the Southern Hemisphere has not perfected the perfect fish and chip supper yet.

No, there aren't any peas or mushies. If you want those, and oily chips,
go to a shop run by a Brit. :naughty:

More Poms here than Oz&Kiwis methinks

In any case for those from Australasia it should be pie and chips

180 just for F&C and nowt else ? Try Lins for 180 and real value for money. Double fish, chips, veg or peas and 2 rounds of bread and butter

Thank Buddha Barry is back

What sort of fish is it exactly? Is it snapper, or the frozen stuff from Vietnam that you can buy at Makro that most of the F&C places here use, or something else? If it is good fish, then it sounds like a deal!

I erred... My wife thought the owned said Snapper... It is in fact Grouper (groupa).

Also, there is now a name displayed: Hua Hin Fish 'n' Chips.

I mentioned before there is also hamburgers there so tonight I returned and ordered a Hamburger, It is described on the menu: Australia Beef with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and grilled pineapple at Baht 120. It was great. The beef juicy and tasty.

For parking, if you turn into the lane next to the used book shop.. about 30 meters down there is a large parking area. Room for 100 cars. Did not know it existed.

But I've noticed it does get locked overnight. Not sure what time they lock it though.

Oh but we most definitely have perfected it, hence the reason why we don't include mashies.

Every man to his own taste... It is like steak... how do u like it? Rare, Med.. etc. Some people drown their food in tomato sauce.. and so on.

The large parking area down the lane closes at 20.00.

The restaurant is open from 11.00 to 20.00

No, I'm a strange beast. Fish & chips without mushies are not real fish & chips. If there's a place that does mushies and a place that doesn't, the place serving mushies wins every time - especially when it only costs half the price

BB,

For me I can take or leave mushy peas but if it aint cod then it aint fish and chips.

In the uk you can have various fish I know but Haddock or any other fish just does not do it for me.

I prefer to buy Harry Ramsdens cod in batter in town and cook it myself.
