I guess it depends just where you are in Hua Hin. Nothing like that where I am in Soi 6. Some light rain overnight, but not even enough to inhibit the automatic sprinklers. It is overcast, and I can see a big cloud buildup to the South.
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!

Yes, probably, but the same Saturday morning here--nothing. My point being that the rain is not widespread, and storms tend to be isolated to some areas.

That does surprise me, but last year richard who lives just down the road from me was flooding (on the 9th floor of his condo) while we enjoyed sunshine.

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.
We have some nice big black clouds developing so let's hope the forecast for rain turns into reality, rather than the false hopes over the past couple of weeks.
^ It looked like the end of the world at dawn over here in Rayong this morning. Net result was 5 minutes of drizzle. The heat has gotten to the point where mid-afternoon you have to be crazy to even go outside. Pete

That's about 3 minutes more than we had here, halfway between HH and Cha Am. Mixed clouds and sunshine so not sure which way it will go, but hoping for much needed rain.
Missed us, didn't it?
I walked the beach earlier and it was really angry out at sea with plenty of thunder. Even had a couple of spots of rain as I approached Khao Takieb with a cooling wind. Now it's just heating up again.
I'm gonna try show you 2 photos...
One is taken from a pic on Google Earth, taken at the Southern End of Pranburi Dam.
The other pic is one I took 3 weeks ago..same location..!
Now think of all those new condo developments needing water..??
