Bangkok Hospital Emergency Number

Has any member had a similar problem as this with Bangkok Hospital Emergency Number 1719

I called the number and it took 3 1/2 minutes before the operator answered the call. I asked for the Emergency Service and she started giving me the direct telephone number for the Emergency Department.

Further enquiries and it appears the Emergency Number is also the number to call if you want to CANCEL an appointment........there you are taking your last breaths on this earth and the operator is in the process of cancelling an appointment for an ingrowing toenail!

Thank God we have Hua Hin Hospital Emergency Service, does anyone know the number??
