On the Pala-U road heading out of town there are 5 massage shops charging 150thb for 1hr Thai massage. A couple are good quality, the others are so-so. In town, the blind massage shops also charge only 150 thb and their massages are usually good. Otherwise, due to higher rents, it is 200-300 thb. Most charge 300 for oil and if that's your thing, you will know when extras are available. I know of one lady who charges only 200 thb for 1 1/2 hr oil massage.

Is she close to Jings Guesthouse?
I live in Pattaya, and I am looking forward to visiting HH on a regular basis.
Thanks.

5 minutes away on a motorbike or taxi. Not sure if I am allowed to post details since it may be considered advertising. pm me if you wish to know more. If you use her, please provide a decent tip. She's a nice lady and her location makes it difficult to be seen by customers.

Between the King's Palace and Golden Place on the main Petchkasem Rd.

Another one is on soi 88. Go over the railway track, carry on straight. About 150m on the right.

Actually the price can vary depending on the location, if you are in a relatively modern, clean place or a shop within a hotel or shopping mall, you can probably expect to pay a bit more than in somewhere that doesn't have the same level of hygiene!

had an oil massage 300 bahts/1hour, thai massage 200b/hour, by the golden place, was ok but very old premises and very very basic, and there was no blind persons unlike stated on their board, can find better for the price, in the underground car park at market village for instance, ;)

So a car park has more atmosphere than an old Thai building. I know lots of things that go on in car parks but anyway, whatever turns you on :naughty:

Probably not, but the OP was inquiring about a massage, rather than about atmosphere or historical sight seeing opportunities.

About 3km up the Palau U road on the left (not far past blue sign for Elephant Village) there is a massage shop advertising Thai Massage for 120 baht/hour. Not tried it yet but can't argue with the price. :D

A bit out of town but well worth it. A little further up on the Palau U road right hand side about 150m past Family restaurant which is on the left side, this is the best one, I think the name is YIN DEE massage, bright green place, very nice "no extras offered".

Worth a visit.
