MLM
My local pharmacist (okay, so I'm in Bangkok) pulled me aside and showed me 'this just in' with a giggle. A hundred baht for a pack of four. Thinks they should be given away as Christmas presents. This is the same place that sells original Cialis for 1,600 baht a pack of four.

The packet shows it as Sidegra rather than Silagra - maybe that's why nobody has found any until now, unless of course it's something completely different - maybe an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen?

A Google search indicates that SIDEGRA (pictured above) is the new Thai FDA-approved, GPO-produced generic Viagra, and SILAGRA is just another of the many (illegally?) imported generic versions.
Several web pages in the Google search results say Silagra is produced by Cipla, but going to the Cipla web site -- it's an Indian pharmaceutical company -- there is no mention of/reference to Silagra.

Sure is sold at the pharmacy mentioned/pictured previously. 240 baht for pkg/4, vs, if I remember correctly, 400 baht for Kumagra and 1,600 baht for Viagra.
Re: Thailand to release generic anti-impotence drug Silagra
All reports I have read over the years say that Viagra and its various copies are an absolutele no-no for people with a cardiac problem but I sighted a story in one of yesterday's English language papers that SIDEGRA is quite safe for those with those a cardiac history. Anyone seen similar reports?
Re: Thailand to release generic anti-impotence drug Silagra
Sidegra is simply a generic version of the same chemical compound (sildenafil) that comprises Viagra, so I doubt it would be any safer or less safe.
