deleting threads

when logged in I always go to "view unread posts".
Sometimes i'm not on the forum for days due to my work so theres alot of threads to open and close.
Just right to the bells there is a free box ,so my qustion is that maybee it would be possible to make
a mark in the box you not are interested to read and then delete one or more threads.
Maybee there is a way to do it already but i I can out of it.
This is just a suggesting to a very good forum.

I also use the 'view unread posts' facility. When I've looked at the posts that might interest me I go to the main index page and click on "mark forums read". Then you can start from fresh next time you log on.

Thanks d-m I thought there was a way, but couldent figure it out.
