Dark, wet and dreary day over here so far. Stopped at 0300 and started again at 0500 and still going. Sure cleaned the air though. :D Pete

Edit: You can see why....it's just sitting over us here.

Yes we had January's rain (about 10 minutes of light drizzle) just over a week ago. Now you know why we live in Hua Hin :butt: :-D

Well the sky is clouding up now and they forecast scattered thunderstorms over the next 5 days - actually looking forward to a bit of rain, not too much mind you.

Light drizzle and general windy conditions with a bit of warm sunshine will be perfect.

Hope the thunderstorms dont hit.

Hua Hin always needs rain at this time of year, and during the next 3 months also - sorry but we need the maximum possible.

This morning's shower wasn't much, but it deposited some horrible mess on my car. I actually thought the car had been vandalised with a spray gun when I'd finished swimming. It took about 10 minutes just to clean the windscreen. I'll be trying to clean the car later this afternoon. Did anybody else experience this horrible gunge?

Likewise here in Bon Kai. After removing all of that gunge off my car yesterday, the car is staying well under cover until the rain stops.

Now that BB lives there I've delegated official local weather responsibility to him. :D All that I can determine is that the usual wintertime high pressure from China isn't as strong or as cold as in past years. This allows the wet which is usually restricted to further south this time of year to creep up here.

In Rayong here we had steady rain Friday through Sunday, and strong showers Monday and Tuesday, with more expected today. I've never seen it like this before this time of year. Pete

Thunder, lightening and a deluge over here since around 0300 last night. Over 40mm already. It's only March 16 and the hot season hasn't really begun yet so I have no explanation for this. The termites were even swarming this morning....talk about a screwed up date clock. :? Pete
