500 dollars the membership for 1 year to have them suddenly change it to a room a third the original size with everything on top of everything and no room to move. The machines weren't complete to start and now now there is someone up your ass in there everytime you move. opps sorry, opps i'm sorry. counter on top of machines also and having first to go to gym to get towels and locker key and across the building to change and then back to gym for workout and then back across building to shower and then back again to bring back key. "what a joke"
Before joining i was considering putting a gym upstairs. Should have gone with that feeling but the hilton gym was ok then.
And who made the decsion to move the gym to a little hole in wall with loads of windows where the rest of the hotel and balconies can look in needs to drink some coffee or unplug his head from his dumb ass.
As far as i am concerned the hilton stole my money that time and got away with it.

Well if they didn't let you join maybe they liked you and didn't want to take your money and give you dissapointment in return.
I won't be going back to that gym but do enjoy a comfortable meal there still.
It is a good hotel in good location and good priced relative to other countries and some good looking china girls in service there.
We all have our own tastes and i'd rather be seen to by one of them ahead of the local crop everyday.

I hear that english pickup driving around the town centre about thai boxing at grand gym. is that gym worth a visit or is it over-habited by the thais who don't know staring is rude.

It was two years ago and after looking at the gym and coming down in the lift, I asked to see the pool.
"You can't use that". "Why not" "Because there aren't enough sunloungers".

some of the macines in there are ok though.But there is a much better gym in Cha Am,just on the right side of the main road near the traffic lights where you can turn right to the beach.
the equipment was really good but it is not air condition in there either(just as grand sport)

My info is that they have moved location so to do a re-furb of the original gym. Am told will finish at end of the month.
So rather than close the gym, they are offering a limited service for a few weeks.

And therein lies a lesson for Mr Peaced. If he was so upset, all he had to do was to ask the staff of the Hilton what was going on and he could have found out. Or am I wrong, sir, and you did?
For all its associated drawbacks, I have never found the staff in the hotel part of the Hilton to be anything less than exemplary.
