hey guys which thread were those awful pics of the motorcycle accidents?. not being macabre or an ambulance chaser , just want to show some rather over enthusiastic young riders back here in australia what can hapen when you ride with big balls and no talent!!

I arrive in BKK tomorrow and you know what, im not going to cross the street cause i could get run over, no motorcycle taxis for me too damn dangerous, no drinking or smoking cause thats bad to, oh and dont drink anything other than bottled water, no sex either thats the deadliest of all.

What F#$cking world do we live in??? Right now there are people dying in this world going about there daily lives, havent taken any risks, just going about there daily lives and boom a big f#%kin bomb drops on them and blows them away.......... they took no sides, they have no allegience may they rest in peace. And your f@#cking worried about a people that make there own choice about hopping on a motorcyle.
There is nothing like 2 wheels and once again this visit i wont be swayed i have my helmet, boots an jacket packed and hopefully i can once again outwit all those crazy thai car drivers.

Sorry Olmate, I don't think Illy was criticising motorbikes, just showing concern about some kids who are a little too cocky & arrogant on them. I think your response was a little harsh. If he were criticising bikes, I hardly think Dr Dave would have agreed with him, as that's his business.
All they're doing is advocating safety.
As a former nurse who worked on an orthopaedics ward (all old women with broken hips & young guys who'd come off motorbikes simply because they'd been too cocky), I think they're absolutely right.
If everyone wore all the safety gear, as you do, Illy et al wouldn't have to worry, would they?
