Think you might have a problem with changing the name on the ticket. You might have to try for a refund from the airline.

I will not have a problem changing the name as there is no name on the tickets. They are part of a barter arrangement with the airline and therefore open in terms of user. Interested parties please make contact.

Where in the Middle East is the stopover and for how long do you have to stay. - is it on both the outward in inward flight that you have to stopover?

The flight is with Gulf Air so Bahrain and how long you would have to stopover depends on where you fly on to. Return would have to stop there too as it is the hub - home base.

As he's said before, it depends which flight you chose and what your final destination would be.

As he's said before, it depends which flight you chose and what your final destination would be.

Lets wait and see what Mprgan has to say, as it may be just that you have to change planes in Bahrain because all Gulf flights are via there, but then only with a typical 2-3 hour wait in between flights. Whilst it may be a condition of the ticket that an overnight stay is part of the deal, that's fairly unusual and would of course add to the cost if you need a hotel, negating the saving on the flight.

The previous poster said it as it is that is why I did not respond. The stopover depends on exactly where you are flying onto as it would for any paid for ticket. There are no other conditions attached. One of the tickets has however now been sold, allocated and the flight is booked so there is ony one ticket left. It is of interest please let me know.

Maybe I am being pedantic but most airlines use the term "stopover" for staying one or more nights in the transit location, whereas it seems you are simply saying that the transit times between arrival and departure will vary depending on final destination. I used to work/live in Bahrain so flew with Gulf on a regular basis and they are a reasonable airline, so although the travel dates don't quite fit my schedule, I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
