Software programmer wanted
I've just moved my small IT company from BKK down here to Hua Hin and I'm looking for some people to work for me. Does anyone have any tips or advice they can offer when it comes to looking for people in Hua Hin?

I'm afraid you don't have enough posts to receive personal mails.
Can you please give an email address/telephone number where you can be reached as I know of someone who could well be interested.

Thai national or farang? Full time, part or contract? What software?

Sorry, someone has sent me a private message that I can't seem to read.
I'm looking for someone who can work legally here in Hua hin, so Farang with work permit or Thai. But English skills are required. Language is C, C++, java or csharp in that order of preference. Anyone who can demonstrate OOP skills would be considered.
My phone 083 188 6641 if anyone wants to contact, I can't even put an email address here.

Hi chrisg,
I'm the one who tried to sent you the private message. I'm a German national and have been a self-employed software engineer back in Germany. I used Delphi/Pascal for programming and also managed networks consisting of LINUX/UNIX, Windows and Mac machines.
I've no experience in C,C++, C# or Java. C and C++ was tought at the University but Pascal/Delphi suited more my needs to develop software.

Chris - you need 10 posts to get your Private messages and to post email address/links. You could just comment on a dozen or so bland posts or go to the caption competition and think up ten funny captions. You can also (and hopefully I'll not get into trouble for this) post you email address so it doesn't match an email address like 'chris at gmail.com' or similar.
Jobserve is a popular jobs board for IT here, jobserve.co.th - can't remember the cost of an ad - about 800 baht I think. Much less than in the UK.

Hi Frank,
Thanks for the tip, I'll try and boost my message count. You were pretty close with my email address, it's actually gurtlerc at gmail, I wasn't lucky enough to score my first name.
I'll probably end up looking jobsthai, I used that in BKK last time, but will take a look a look at jobserve as well.

Hi Onarees,
Pascal/Delphi are both ok languages and if you are proficient in either of those then that's fine. A good IT programmer can switch between languages and pick up other languages fairly easily. Give me a call if you want to discuss it further.
