After only two weeks we feel at home already, like we have never lived anywhere else.

2nd impression: If you hang out in the restaurant at Tescos for two or three hours you are likely
to have seen 30 to 40 % of resident Farangs!

Anyone interested in British & Empire Military History & other armies - large private library on the way in our container!

Also hoping to be taught the intricacies of British Drill by retired RSM, CSM or Drill Sergeant.

If you miss any of your pals at Tesco you might find them at the night market, both in HH nightly and Cha Am Wed. nights.........seems like a favorite thing to do is watch the crowds, have some eats and beers.

Welcome to the area, we can always use someone with a proper sense of humor. Apparently us Americans are considered on the somewhat sucky side of having a good sense of how to take a p..ss. (can I use piss on the forum?). I only say this as I was reading about a fifty page thread on foo the other day and we seemed to be taking quite a beating.

I resurrect this thread due to the arrival of Mike per below. Mike, you need to become acquainted with Sargeant on here.

PRCCT reserected a post from so long ago it was chiseled on the back of those tablet things old joe (short for Joseph) brought down from the mountain

I think hes a canadian by the way The P is for Pete i know that The R stands for res erection and CCT stands for Canadian Constabulary Toronto at a guess

Anyway mick the Fritz or is that Fritz takes the mick not that it matters it seems you are in for a ruff ruff ride that is because those like me and you (menu) that cut our humour on round the Horne Secombe Milligan et al are actualy aliens after many years on this forum no bugger understands my humour and there are those that think that god/jesus is Alex Jones and have absolutely no idea that God/jesus real name is brian

anyway so far they have been nice to you "you lucky lucky bastard"

anyway two crutches you say bald as coot as well so i offer the hand of freindship and if you hop down Pranburi way PM me and we could meet in Tescos

As for drill practice the military 2 step is all i can manage in my zimmer frame and i never learnt the military 2 step&2crutches

Sitting at the computer in the internet cafe on the second floor of the Village Market.

Cannot access my email provider, because the internet explorer is an outdated 3 version!
Have however bought my first private laptop/notebook, also subscribed to fast internet
link. So I hope to go online next week.

My wife and I have rented a house in the area of Soi 94, near the Amara Resort.
It's a very quiet neighbourhood.
The house is spacious with three bedrooms, plenty of room for my books and the
316 boxes in our container which is to arrive in a couple of weeks.

Well I may not be the only chap with two crutches, to be more specific: I'm in my sixties, not a young surfer who has broken a leg!Lol I am NOT bald! I have always had my hair cut very short.
And the plastic components of my crutches are a light blue.
