FWIW, my advice would be to try a Galaxy Note, the S2 (which I loved) feels like a toy in comparison now. It's the ultimate sized phone for all the... non-phone type stuff, if they make them any bigger they'll be too big, for me anyway. The little extra size makes a world of difference when typing and particularly editing text, it also makes internet, email, games, reading etc feel as natural as having a Pad/Tab on your lap.

But above all because improved battery life it's 'fit for purpose' as a mobile... I can use it until I get home at night and stick it on charge. The S2's I have had both went to sleep around 7-9pm on days when you're away from chargers.

Sorry to detract from your actual request Alberto, S2's generally go for around 9k at the mobile phone 'shops' these days. There's one in Soi BonGai at the moment that a mate is in two minds over.

9000 baht? That's cheap from a phone stand. I thought they bought about 8-9k for them and then added their margin.

Thanks for the advice,, but i need something that fits in my pockets.. i already have a tablet anyways if i need the screen but ,, i just wanted to update this,, I am still looking to buy one,, anybody out there have one for sell?

Yeah, must've dropped since the S3 came out as they were about £450 not long ago.

9k is good for a good condition 2nd hand though.

Yeah, they have been around 12k for a 2nd hand one of late but as of last week there was one for 9k in the first shop on left in Soi Bon-Gai after the two 7-11's. It's in that new'ish block the tax office is in. It was a black one which is the older model/firmware (and spec!?) than the white one, ie: GT-I9100T & GT-I9100. The black one is seen as the 'old' model here, even if near on identical phones.

But agree, 9k isn't the typical price around town

Identical phones and the Firmware is dependant on when it came out of the factory.

The letters on the end are regions, mine is an i (international) as is my brothers white one.

The difference is cosmetic.
