Sorry for posting without introducing myself. I am Limbo, was several times in Hua Hin between twenty and eightteen years ago, but ended up in the north of Thailand in Chiangrai.
I need some holidays (my kids from Sweden have been visiting me with my grandkids, and that is much worse than having a visit from your parents, I love them a lot and had to make a good impression -help!- even more difficult and different than with your parents you cannot blame them for everything that went wrong in your life, o god, this is supposed to be a joke).
So I was thinking about Hua Hin and ended (?) up here.
This is a nice forum, no aggressive people, friendly. Not people getting rid of their frustrations (Ok I shall try to keep up the standards).
Is there a meeting point for the Swedish who don't mind an old friend of Cornelis to join their ranks for a while?

Ahh a Swede. We did better in the ice-hockey as you this time although we eventually lost against the Canucks (again). There is a Swedish bar next to the German bakery in the intersection of Amnuaysin and Srasong Road. It also serves Swedish food for very reasonable prices but I don't know its name. Another Swedish Bar is on the soi between Soi Joy (Pinthabahn) and Selakam, called Mats Vegas. If you want to meet other nationalities, I'm sure all bars will welcome you.
Have a nice vacation

Thank you Bamboo.
I am very curious. I didn't see a sea for several years. I am packing my medicine box already.
Kippis!
PS I am Dutch but you wouldn't notice it, don't look like a tulip.
