Great that he's gone, f**ked up big time. Good plan A manager, no loyalty, big gob, very stubborn, praise to Levy the club comes first.
As far as the outlook at Spurs goes Talking Heads comes to mind 'Same as it ever was', Players come and go and spurs go up and down with more heartache than joy.

BaaBaa - please don't tell us that Benitez is STILL available - it IS, this fact that questions how good he is.
'Arry's gone
Despite my being a fan of his, I'm sure that the guvnor has put the club first - but I'm wondering who we will get next and who, of the players, will leave in the meantime
Sad day for the club.

Re: Premier League 2012-2013
This about sums it up for me:
To be honest I’m completely in favour of Levy getting rid of him. He was a tactical clown, you can argue all you want about his achievements, but deep down every Spurs fan knew he just wasn’t up to it in terms of taking us to the next level, I never at any stage felt comfortable or confident with him as manager.
No top manager lets his team get thumped 5-1 in an FA Cup Semi, lose 5-2 after being 2-0 up against your biggest rivals, and go on a run of 1 win in 11 games during the business end of the season. The only reason he did moderately well was because had a great squad of players to choose from, and even then he still underachieved.
Take Mourinho for example, can anyone genuinely tell me he wouldn’t have at least competed for the Premier League with the exact squad as his disposal? Course he would have, people seem to forget that Martin Jol got us fifth place for two consecutive seasons, has Redknapp really taken us any further since then? We had a bit of a fun ride in the CL, but the moment we came up against a bit of quality, we got thumped 5-0 on aggregate to Real Madrid.
These aren’t signs of a top manager, he doesn’t even work on set pieces during training, just stands there talking to his management team, hell after the court case he didn’t even bother turning up and opted to go to Dubai instead. All managers use training as the ultimate preparation, Redknapp seemed to think all he had to do was turn up, pick the best 11 on paper and tell them to go express themselves. Well a wake-up call mate, it doesn’t work.
I mean who else would go on TV a day after their chairman’s mum passed away, pleading for a new contract? Absolutely shocking behaviour, he did the same after the FA overlooked him for the England job, in his back seat with his windows rolled up referring to all his media chums by their first names. The way this guy conducted himself, from day one is nothing short of a disgrace, and even if we do come midtable next season, not having to listen to him on a regular basis, blaming everyone but himself after a defeat will do me just fine. I feel like I’ve finally got my club back, and it feels just great.
Cheerio, good riddance.

Apparently David Moyes is the bookies favourite for the Spurs job followed by the usual suspects like Roberto Martinez and Rafa Benitez.......one guy in with a chance is believed to be the Athletico Bilbao manager,Marcelo Bielsa.
After those you are down to guys like Alex McLeish,Gary Megson,Glen Hoddle and Phil Brown !
Maybe if Moyes takes over at Spurs,Benitez can take over at Goodison Park !!

T'riffic.
No Terry, why would I want Spurs to get Benitez? You'd have upgraded Managers, no, I hope you get Moyes.

Re: Premier League 2012-2013
I'm a little torn at the moment. He's been sacked because, with the money spent we should be fighting for the title apparently. When he took over we were bottom. We'll see how it plays out from now. I would like Martinez if I was given the choice.
All in all we won't challenge for the title unless we have a sugar daddy that buys us Ronaldo's and Iniesta's for 50 million a pop. Our current biggest spending on a single player is 16 mil I believe - Modric.
Ho Hum
On the brighter side of things our owner doesn't believe that 4th place is good enough. Nothing wrong with ambition.

He was sacked because tactically he f**cked up big time and cost the club millions. He would have cleared off anyway if the FA chose him. Nothing to do with the title, however we were at one point suprisingly in with a shout. So no sweat. Good Riddance!GLCQuantum wrote:He's been sacked because, with the money spent we should be fighting for the title apparently.

As the only Spurs fan on here that was slating the poor form and tactics 'WHEN' it was happening it's nice to know you all jump on ship once it's all over and done with and when the manager is ousted to boot. Only then you start to mention (word for word by the way)just what I was saying 3-4 months ago.He was sacked because tactically he f**cked up big time and cost the club millions. He would have cleared off anyway if the FA chose him. Nothing to do with the title, however we were at one point suprisingly in with a shout. So no sweat. Good Riddance!

As I said I'm still torn... I worry about where the clubs heading but also like the fact the owner is not happy with 4th place.

Actually Jimmy, just tracking back through the posts and you did get on board and notice the faults within the team a few months ago. This was quickly scuppered by a few rallying posts by Dtaai Maai though and you continued on your oblivious clueless path of.... 'COYS' ... 'were doin well you know innit'. 'Best year for while now ya know'. 'Enjoying meself n' all that'...... 'Can't really see the potential so just happy wid wot we got ya know' (added the last for a laugh - can't put a price on laughter I'm afraid)
