Where is the Hua Hin Weather Information?

Post by Big Boy »

I know I lost the weather a few months back, only to be proved wrong. The weather window appears on my PC, but its always blank when I look at it ie:

I can read that 'The station is not currently reporting', but it never seems to be reporting these days, or am I just unlucky? Has anybody seen the weather forecast on this page since all of the other improvements were made?

I actually like to look at the weather window, and dream of how it will be when I return next.

It comes from a third party website so we really have no control over whether it reports or not.

Maybe time to find a new supplier though.

Its back, but I'm not sure its right - 24 degrees and rainy! According to what it says England is currently 8 degrees warmer than Thailand. It is certainly doing nothing for my dreams of hot sunny Thailand - maybe it was better when it wasn't working.

I have no idea where they get those low temperatures from.
I had 28 to 29 degrees all day to day.
In Hua Hin of course.

SHOWERS OR DOWNPOURS ?

Post by roro »

When they say 'showers' do they mean all day as in the UK or are they all over and done in an hour or so, and then sunny.Am coming over in August but would like to know a bit more about the rain ? 8)
If I could be the sun I'd shine in your life,
If I could be the rain I'd rain in your eyes and I'd wash away the emptiness you feel inside-PW.

I'm no weatherman, but as a general rule of thumb, if it's raining in the morning, as it is today, I'd normally expect it to be pretty dull for the rest of the day. Other than that, rain's mainly in the afternoons.
HH is one of the driest areas of Thailand, but August is right in the middle of the rainy season. Don't let that put you off though. You're sure to get more than your fair share of good days when it'll be so hot, you'll be praying for rain to cool it down.
