Re: Champions League 2011 - 2012
then again, honestly, congratulations Chelskea, you beat Farcelona, so you deserve to be champions. Then again, now that Abramovich has gained what he wanted, will he sell the club?

We Done It, We Done It, We Done It.
Abramovich will not sell the club and to suggest so is plain daft.
More money will now be ploughed into the club as under the fair play scheme chelsea can now spend without fear of sanctions due to the income this win brings.
I just hope matteo gets the job full time which judging by the reaction of abramovich to matteo tonight it seems a shoe in.
Sad for the spurs supporters though.

Hope that gets Di Matteo the permanent job, poor old JT ran down with his strip on, socks pulled up, but got crowded out for the money shot.

Re: Champions League 2011 - 2012
I big congratulations to Chelsea.
I post again BaaBaa's photo from the PL thread.
I'm sure AVB is having very mixed emotions at the moment. Some pride and happiness, but can't help to be some bitterness there as well. He should have been allowed to finish the season and there's nothing that tells me last night's result would have been any different if he did. Of course he would then now be the hero and have a secure job. Pete

His face didn't fit for the media Pete, but if you look at Di Matteo, quite literally his face doesn't fit.......on his head.
