Thank You Indian Restaurant

We had many good meals when they were at the Smor resort before they moved to the new place and the setting was also much better with great views over the sea.
We now look forward to going back to Smor at the end of the month.

Thanks, T&T. I wasn't a huge fan of 'Thank You' but ate there about once a month. Now I know not to go.

I'm American so maybe my taste is different, but why is S&S so popular? I ate there once when it was near down town and it was uninspiring. Does it taste like 'English' Indian food? I'm not taking the p*** at all, I'm just puzzled. I usually ate Indian food at lunch buffets in Seattle, WA where many Indians (mostly software engineers) ate. S&S, and 'Thank You' for that matter, would have died there. HHAD seems to love S&S. It's cheap and unpretentious compared to say, Maharajah, but is it really good? Did I go on an off night?

(It only took seven years but I got 200 posts!)

I believe that S & S is merely the best of the very low standard available, particularly when you compare prices

I've just had the WORST food ever in HH!! I went to this 'Thank you' Indian R/rant & ordered a take-away..I paid for Mutton Rogan josh & Chicken Tikka Massala..plus Pilau rice x 2.(75b each!)
Total cost 470B..!!
The Rogan Josh was a MADRAS when I got home & served it up..Damn it was so hot we binned it!
The Tikka Massala was Chicken Tikka peices in the same MADRAS sauce F.F.S!..again we binned it..it was so damn spicy..I even saw the Indian man write down my order in front of me..TWAT!
(Oh and the rice tasted a week-old..one mouthful & it also was binned...470b well wasted.)

If only I'd checked the contents of each sealed bag before leaving the place..never ever again
will he see me in this restaurant.. 'THANK YOU'..& GOOD NIGHT

Why didn't you take it back? even if too far away to go the same day/night, I would have put the lot in the fridge and returned it when I had the opportunity. He would then have three choices......

1) Give me the meals I ordered the first time
2) Give me a refund
3) Clean up the mess in his restaurant if he refuses both of the above.
