Kitten Needs Home

A cat we were feeding when we were in Hua Hin in December had 5 kittens last week. Unfortunately only one is still alive. The mother and one remaining kitten are now being looked after by our neighbour.
We will be trying to bring the mother back to the UK this year but the kitten will need a home in 8-9 weeks time.
If anyone is interested in giving a home to a kitten then let us know and we will give you the telephone number of our neighbour by private message

Thank you for your reply and telephone number. As the kitten is only one week old it cannot be separated from its mother for another 7 weeks. However, we will email you at the end of February with our friends number so that you can telephone her to discuss.

Just a reminder that we are looking for a good home for a kitten. Although we have had one response we are a little apprehensive as the reply states that they want the 'cute kitten'. It will not remain a 'cute kitten' forever and will grow in to a perhaps not so cute cat. What we do not want is for it to be dumped once the novelty wears off

It will be another 5 weeks or so when the kitten is ready to leave its mother. I hope we get further replies.

We are not sure whether it is male or female but will be speaking with our Swedish friend in Hua Hin on Sunday and will ask. With regard to posting a picture we will be in Hua Hin from 26th March which will be around the time it can be separated from its mother. We will take a picture then and upload it to the forum.
Alternatively, I can ask our friend if we can pm you her phone number and you can speak with her.

We would prefer to give the kitten to a farang as we have seen many times that once the kitten becomes older the Thai people lose interest and it becomes a stray. Sorry

Hi again all

Just a reminder that if anybody would like to give a kitten a home then it is now ready to be separated from its mother.
We have just learned from our friend that unfortunately the mother of the kitten is very sick and has chronic kidney failure and will not survive. So, other than trying to find a home for the kitten we also need to find a vet willing to euthanise the mother.
We will be in Hua Hin from Sunday 25th March. If anybody is interested in giving a beautiful kitten a home then please let me know and we can call you once we arrive in Thaialnd.
