Property Sale at Market Village

Post by hollister »

Went shopping at Market Village with the long hair general. While she was hunting down the sales at various clothing stores I strolled past the real estate sales booth and picked-up brochures of various developments.

Only one booth approached me actively asking me for my interest and even for my eMail and contact details. All others where either "busy" on their mobiles or eating ...

Developers should attend a few timeshare sales presentations in Orlando FL to advance their sales pitch.

I do hope not - the last thing I want if I ever go to MV is people hassling me to buy things I don't want.
This is the way

I agree...I was brought up to ask if I needed any assistance...the last thing I need is some heavy time share hard sell type approach....I get "shadowed" enough thanks in Home Pro and furniture shops.

I also tend to agree. I hate salespeople bothering me. If I need something, I'll ask.

As a side note though, the Thai property company my wife works for doesn't allow employees to eat during office hours. The can only eat during their lunch break, and even then, not in the office. As for the mobile phones...............the problem is worldwide now. They should just ban the damn things.

Exactly. I hate when they hand me brochures with greasy fingers, half a chicken wing in hand, another half in their mouth and sales rep two is on the phone. And it wasn't lunch time. If two sales are assigned in one booth, one should stay and the other go for lunch.

Btw Hilton's timeshare sales pitch (back in 1994) wasn't hardcore but good manners and professional.
