Understanding Thai females

Post by TingTongJohn »

O.k Ladies and gents. This maybe is an open ended question of a futile nature but I will ask. Do any of you understand the Thai female mindset? 10 years now I have been with my Thai wife 7 married and I still do not get her thought process at all sometimes. Any gems of wisdom tidbits of lurking truth? Please spout forth so I may learn or atleast gleam abit of knowledge that may help this beleagured soul in the goal of my mind will find some inner peace.

I seem to understand my wife's way of thinking but perhaps that has something to do with the fact that she stayed in the west with me for a few years, during which time she only had western friends (Scottish women). I cannot however make head or tail of the way her family thinks.....lol, but it does tend to add a bit of color to life.

In fact, now that I think about it, perhaps your question should have been....."Understanding females"....lol.

Hmmm very good topic... I have been with my wife for 6yrs and sometimes it can be frustrading but most of time i find it hard to get my point across.... but i do love how they process things in general...... the way i look at it's a day at a time or a 12 step program...

Point one: as you know women and men are wired up completely differently to each other.
Point two: Thai women have an unique dual wiring i.e. "Thai Female Mode"(only partially understood by most Thai males) or "Other mode" ( similar to common western woman style )
Point three: Thai women can easily switch between either mode or have the unique ability to go into a special and little understood "Secret Dual Mode" disposition. Now this is the most worrying mode for us all as the key characteristic is uncertainty. Some of my best Thai male mates say this is the scarey one and describe this volatile situation as " being predictably unpredictable".
Oddly the most common cause of going into this strange mode is contact with other Thai women who happen to also be in this very mode, a kind of contagen may I suggest. The best way is to deal with it is to lie low , very low and to refrain from commenting or even breathing at times. Thankfully it will pass on and all will become normal again till the next bout.
So TTJ don't bother trying to rationlise these ladies as you will never work them out. Just love em to bits and hang on for the ride of your life mate.

Absolutely correct. Besides not breathing, I might add quietly tip toeing out of the room backwards, and most important, resist all temptation to rationalize, explain, apologize or as depree said, make any comment at all.

Perhaps we should also touch upon 'understanding certain farang males', who after they get a Thai GF obviously are so impacted by this 'Secret Dual Mode' that they also become totally paranoid and change personality... ;)

Trying to understand the moods of any female of any nationality is a futile task. Give it up - make her understand YOU!

Hmm I wonder if there is an update or upgrade I can get to correct this? Did I get the Thai female beta version 1976? Maybe she has a virus that mac coffee can fix? Some times I feel like the prey in some bad dino film where If I do not move she my Thai wife(A.K.A Thairaptor) will not see me cowering in a corner. Yes Female Thairaptors are Very dangerous in packs as well and do go on mass killings from what I have seen. I have scars on my soul as proof.

Most times I do love the ride but other times I just wish I could get off(Keep your minds out of the gutters please) But proof is in the pudding and my 2 lovely daughters prove that.

I would agree with all of the above. Ive been with my wife 30 years and still find her difficult to understand at times. She still suprises me with her rational at times. :)
You would think I would have figured her out after all that time. :)
