Adrian,

There is no real academy as such in Hua Hin, mostly freelance teachers both european and thai. 2 new courses are being built here at the moment, one by a swedish developer which will have an academy, and one other which i am not sure about yet, i can find out. When you say you want to pursue a career in golf what do you mean, are you a pga pro looking to teach here or are you looking more on the operational side? If your a teacher i would imagine you could make a bundle of money in Singapore! Will help all i can on this topic.

Cheers

Hey guys,

Thanks for the fast response. I have seen the website which chelsea posted on the reply and i am no pro to start with. Probably a pro wannabe, haha....... Just to share, golf in Singapore is still very expensive. Playing a round of 18 holes means playing approx 3 rounds in Thailand(it depends where & which course ya). I am looking to improve on my game & eventually be able to impart my knowledge to fellow golf freaks. Btw, teaching in Singapore is not as good as you guys might perceive it to be. There is too little golfers to be shared among the pros. There is about 200 odd local pros out teaching, maybe another 50 foreign coach from across the world. Only a couple is on the asian tour! Well, how about that mate, statistically it is not that lucrative ya. Sigh.......
