Kids on Clicks

Post by fach3003 »

Hi all....

How old do you have to be to ride a scooter here...???

Seen kids looking about 12 or 13 normally with 2 mates on!

flying around...the streets near Cha am market.......

no lids on and just racing flip flops ... of course :D

no idea what the law states....

not that anyone would pay attention here......

Regards to all

To obtain a motorbike licence ( under 110cc) you have to be 16. Over 110cc and cars 18.
I have read that a 14 year old can legally ride a motorcycle up to 80cc.

It's a symptom of the rotten family values and apathy in a modern society that are all too typical these days amongst the average Thais.....

Where do the delinquents get the motorbikes from in the first place?

Who Ok's it by giving them the keys or allowing them access?

Family that couldn't care less, or it's stolen. Certainly don't buy it (motorbike) themselves as this lot couldn't organise anything, they feed of others like leeches in an attempt to convinces themselves that they are somehow Mr Cool/number 1.

This one goes back to what was mentioned on another recent thread in the 'News' section about there being little that can be done if no-one gives a f*** about anything.

All starts at home, and they aren't doing a very good job at it here......or anywhere else for that matter, no discipline anywhere.

Those that should be setting an example to the youth are instead failing miserably by acting indifferently and corruptly.........so no surprise there is zero respect for anything from the little scrotes/toe-rags.

However, having said all that, this section of motorists do 'drop-like-flies' and are certainly on 'the list' behaving like this...........maybe some twisted Thai natural selection process etc going on or something.
