Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed? - Hunter S Thompson

Well a night in with some music and a video,

Blistering night out last night with parties in Hogs Breath and Uturn- Uturn had a full blown Katoey show

Surprised today though as bars open selling beer

So it's been a blast of Blondie with Atomic (great bass) and now Death hunt (Marvin and Bronson)

Class mate. I've seen them live a few times at festivals and they also supported Eminem.

Pete Townshend does Fred Astaire!

Jeez, I love this album - White City - it has to be one of the best things he's ever down. A very London-centric piece. The White City used to be a pretty infamous place and whenever we had a Sunday morning game at the Scrubs (behind the prison), we used to have to go past this place and the games usually had an 'element' to them. Last time I was there, many moons ago, I vaguely recollect the changing rooms had been moved to what is now known as the Linford Christie Stadium - would have been better named the 'Lunch Box Stadium'!!!

This is good, with Glimour on guitar and Robert Palmer backing, and er, Pete doing his Fred and Ginger routine - solo!

Great album - go buy!

Incidentally, Townshend now owns 5 homes in Richmond, Surrey, including the place at the top of the hill that used to be owned by John Mills and then Ronnie Wood. Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall had a place a few doors away which Jerry kept after the divorce and then Jagger bought a flat in the block attached to the house and built in a connecting door. Ronnie Wood lived down the hill in Petersham before splitting with his missus. Never saw them in the local Waitrose though!

Nice place, Richmond. Home of R&B in the UK, where the Stones, Who, Hendrix all featured and bands like Traffic recorded down the road in Barnes.
