Who thinks Thai food is healthy..??
Ever considered what goes into that tasty meal you've just ordered..??
Well for a start if it's fried..it will be done in Palm Oil..this oil is loaded with sat-fats.
Most stir-fry dishes will have had copious amounts of sugar thrown in as-per-norm here.
If it's spicy we tend to order more beer to cool our palate down somewhat.
All this may be a big no-no in the eyes of your doctor..??

Don't forget the liberal amount of MSG that most Thai cooks dose the food with...

When I asked my doctor how to tell which foods and drinks were good or bad for you, he said there is one simple rule to follow:

"If it tastes good, spit it out!" :D

Question

Is it the alcohol that kills you or is it the pavement that fractured your skull when you passed out

or was it the lack of moderation

everything is fine in moderation but WHO decides what is the correct level of moderation for you

in my case my new girlfriend (NO FAGS) and all other issues ME and no bugger else who i am not sleeping with

I agree with this. You can try any number of different diets and lifestyle changes recommended by others but the only one who knows how that affects you, is you.

We have a situation in the world where millions of people are popping pills and not getting any better. Yet they keep popping them. Isn't that the definition of insanity? To do the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result?

I think humanity needs another solution.

Agreed to an extent Mr Plum,
our own health lies in our own hands. Read Yoland Lim's book "Your body is your doctor" if you can get hold of a copy as it and in it he states there is not a disease your body cannot cure.In my case I eat mainly home grown seasonal organic produce, drink purified rainwater, have low meat input romp around a 15 rai plot for exercise when possible but have the burden of a poor genetic background which puts me at a higher risk than the average Joe Blow re cardio- vascular issues.Hence my considered use of low dose medication.
I think this is where modern medicine can be used sensibly and to my benefit remembering that modern medicine is sourced in ancient remedies.
What I also don't like much is the big corporate money medicine I think you may be pointing too.
