Just as everyone's already said, restaurant is great, a bit expensive but not Hilton/Marriott type prices, and you're paying to be right on the beach etc. Very busy there with these surfers and their rope lines etc, so not ideal for swimming but interesting watching, I take it the influx of them is seasonal There must have been maybe 100 of these surfers, mostly in their 30's I'd say, you don't seem to see them around town much in the evenings, they've probably brought the average age of the farang community down by 15 years, to around 112

There were some nice big pools of trapped water where the tide had gone out, which were ideal for young kids to muck around in, about a foot deep, the Beach Cafe is in these pics. The quality is cack, taken with a mobile, sorry about that ...
