Beach cafe restaurant soi 75/1

Post by Lily »

Had a fabulous meal here last night. The service and food were perfect, there were 4 in our party and we had 4 starters and main courses plus 2 bottles of wine and the bill came to just over 3k baht. Lovely setting right by the beach and a good selection of both thai and european food. We will definately be going back. A great place for a special occasion.

We also went there for the first time a couple of months ago and thought it was very good. Not the easiest to get to - Soi 75/1 is a building site most of the way down and there's nowhere to park anywhere near the cafe. But they run a golf buggy from the corner of Petch Road, where there's no problem parking - just give them a call and they pick you up. Nice setting, nice food, decent service and reasonable prices. Worth a trip if you havent been.

Does anyone know if it's open for lunch?
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

BTW: I always make it a special point to mention to the restauranteur that I am/we are visiting because of having read good
things about the place in HHAD. Further, where appropriate, I advise the place to advertise in HHAD to gain further visits.

It would not be a bad idea on behalf of HHAD to print out cards in Thai and English that would explain the restauranteur
about HHAD. I would be more than happy to leave such a card with the tip every time I visit a restaurant recommended
to me by the HHAD readers. We'd all gain by this.

A few days ago, we wanted to Beach Cafe.
We drove (by car) into the soi where the sign Beach Cafe was, but it was impossible to park there. What is the best place to park our car?

Does breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cuisine is good but for me pricey and a special occasion joint. Used a lot by the wealthy Scandinavians who spend 2 or 3 months at Condo Chain so menu tailored accordingly

Excellent food and pleasant outlook. A must if you want a good meal with a pleasant view of unspoiled beach. Lot of Kite boarders though so not ideal for swimming but fun to watch

Had my 65th Birthday brunch therewith daughters so it was Champagne and a smoked salmon and scrambled eggs breakfast and then a session on the beach.

Parking is limited so maybe park on Petcha and walk or call them for their buggy. You may want to ask at the Condo Chain if you could park but they are likely to point you in the direction of the waste ground immediately south of the CC. There is also a small area of parking space accessible down Soi 75. Go down the soi and hang a right and work your way round to the back end of the CC. Bit of waste land on the left going towards the back of CC where the kite boarders park

Enjoy

If you look at the aerial view helpfully posted by farang further up this thread, you can see that there is a patch of spare ground running along the length of the soi, just above the label indicating 'Hua Hin 75/1.' That's where I park - nobody seems to mind - and then walk the short distance to the rahnaharn. It's a little pricey by my usual standards but superb quality food and the location/view is virtually second to none.

Definitely worth it when you feel you want to treat yourself or others.

This afternoon we went to Beach Cafe, just walking, it was nice there.
Especially the view at the kite surfers was great to see.
The food was ok, but not really special.
