There are ATV parks where you can rent for short term fun. If you are planning to ride on the street, this is illegal here I believe and was told the police will confiscate the ATV if caught doing that.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I asked Quadmaster the same question on street legal and they said there is an arrangement with HH police under certain conditions (ie a special red plate) how this holds up in practice is another thing

TheATV park close to Cha Am is very good. The dude will do you a cheap pickup and return in his mini van if you book in advance. The one hour cross country safari on quad was brilliant fun, and you can have a beer when you get back, but a tad pricey when you have to pay for the whole family (typical tight jock I know). Recommended.

The comment regarding the status of riding ATVs on the road in Thailand is correct. Although we understand this is currently under review.
In the interim you might talk to your local distributor for any arrangements which they may have which might help those looking to buy road going ATV's as a safer alternative to motorbikes.

ATV's suffer a poor reputation for safety, but if you ride the machine like you are Evil Kinevil over a challenging course, with next to no than riding experience then the results will be the same whatever you ride or drive.

Nice piece of kit but what is it for? Not legal on the road I presume and not practical for off road. :?

Interesting; why wouldn't it be legal for road use - too many wheels? It looks a hell of a lot safer than most little motorcys.
This is the way

Ever seen a beach buggy in HH????

Even with roll bars they are perceived as neither a car or a motorbike

Fraid this is Thailand

You want to take the risk then go ahead. Despite rumours that PKK province has agreed to allow Quads on the road I doubt if MIB have been informed or if they have will not jump at an opportunity to extract some tea money

You see jeeps about. I've been out with a mate in one and been nicked on the bypass to Pranburi and the charge was '4 wheel so should have a roof'

Say no more :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

That quad looks awsome i would like to have a blast on one of those.
Up in Surin i have seen a few people riding around on these kid sized quads that you see in the chinese sell everything shops.
I used to have a road legal quad in the U.K it was a Ram 250 basically a Honda Super Dream engine insured as a motor bike ( but yes four wheels so i had to pay car tax  bloody tax !) but because of this you dont need to don a crash hemet so had a sence of freedom, the tyre's were enduro type on or off road only ran at 4 psi with large channels in the tread pattern so riding on uneven road surfaces the tyre's would find every contour in the road so if you give it some gas very hard to control if you dont know what you are doing my quad would only do about 65 mph but trust me thats fast when you are taring around bends or the fly over's into Southampton.
My quad only cost £2300 on the road but if you have got some dosh you can get something like a Yamaha 650 road legal or what would have been my next toy before i built the mrs he house, would have been a Gas Gas 450 fuel injected ultra light and is capable of 100mph what a weapon that is :D but a price tag of £6000.

Now i would not recommend to anyone to ride a quad on the road until they are really capable of handling it, i would also say that if you can ride a bike this has very little in resembalence of the handling caracteristics of a quad a big mistake here is people think "four wheels peace of piss trust me it's not" they are great fun but you must treat them with respect.

Kendo.
