Teaching opportunites in Hua Hin

Post by jacorvy »

Hi there,

I'm new to Hua Hin and this forum and i'm looking for a teaching job here.

I've been living and teaching in Thailand for about 6 years now, mainly in Bangkok though i did do a one year stint in Phuket teaching hotel employees.

My preference would be to teach in a university though wouldn't mind working in a hotel again but definitely not in a school.

Can anybody help and point me in the right direction?

Thanks. :P

I think that's the whole list of uni's in HH. I'm pretty sure you'll have no problems finding a job as a teacher.
It's a small world after all...

Teaching opportunities: It depends what subjects you are teaching.

Try out Stamford, Webster, or Dusit International Universtity

Best of Luck for your search!

I've just finished a long stint at Suan Dusit Uinversity, which is located on the Petchkasem Road opposite the Airport. It's a Thai University that teaches Airline, Hotel and Tourism courses. The Semester has just started but they are very short of teachers. It can be a frustrating place to work at at times due to lack of good organisation and the pay isn't great but I think it's getting a bit better. You should pop in and ask to speak with Dr Surapon, I'm sure with your experience you'd be offered a job.
