3 1/2 weeks until we land in Bangkok

Just wanted to say hello to everyone on this forum! We are traveling to Bangkok on the 13th of March and traveling to Pattaya, Hua Hin and Bangkok on our way out. This will be our first trip to Thailand, but I doubt our last. This site is a great way to get the inside scoop on where to go and not go when in country. I will be perusing the forum on a daily basis until we leave to get all the latest and greatest info to help make our trip a great vacation.

Again, thanks for all the great information and tips.

Regarding the question you asked, then have a look in the 'After Dark' forum, it's just below the 'Introductions' forum on the index page that you posted your first post on, think there is a thread running on the exact subject you are interested in.

It is indeed a good site and do have an investigative look around it and you will find what you need.

Yes, I have been reading all the threads to include the food section also. Again, this is a nice way to get familiar with the places you visit long before you get there from the people on the ground! Helps us plan our time more efficiently and really enjoy all the hot spots since we are on a limited time schedule. Hua Hin looks like a really great part of Thailand that has tons to offer.

I am sure it is a great place to ride a bike with such scenic views. Hell, we don't even get enough time to ride our bikes in Maryland. Too much traffic and too many people who don't give a shit about bikers. Already been down once from a guy that pulled into traffic and that was not a fun slide down the pavement! But I guess in the overall scheme of things, I was one of the lucky ones, I'm still breathing and walking.

Sounds like my days in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia! Everyday was an adventure and wondering if you were going to get back to your villa in one piece!

We have a sweet set of HD soft tail dueces, but I think we only rode them 5 times last summer. Hell, we tried to sell them, but the economy killed that idea. They are customized twins that I did the work on myself and we'd love to ride them more as they get alot of attention, but it's gotten so damn dangerous to ride, you have to weigh the priorities. Plus, the GF said if we sell them we can buy my dream car, a '32 Ford 5 window coupe street rod!
